This workshop will provide participants with the fundamental knowledge of nutrition based on Ayurveda. Learn about the six tastes of nature and how the taste in food, herbs and spices can be used to balance human nature physically, emotionally and mentally.
Kumudini teaches how to make correct choices regarding individual health and constitution including
• Basic principles of Ayurvedic cooking
• How to prepare tasty and healthy food
• Combination of eastern and western spices in modern healthy cooking
• Simple dishes to balance body and mind
• Home remedies to boost immunity
About the Teacher
Kumudini Shoba, M. Sc., is an Ayurveda practitioner and master herbalist. She comes from a traditional Ayurveda-healing family in Sri Lanka and is a distinguished graduate in both Western science and Ayurveda. A gifted teacher, Kumudini imparts Ayurveda's ancient healing wisdom, with Western herbal traditions and a deep understanding of nutrition, human psychology and development. Kumudini resides and teaches in Seattle, Washington, USA.
